Women Choose New Wardrobe - www.namidupage.org
Women in today’s world may be a lot more sexually aware and active than those of a decade ago, but when it comes down to a choice between an entirely new wardrobe and sex, women would rather get clothes than sex.
That is the not so-shocking revelation of a new poll conducted by Unilever on approximately a thousand women in 10 cities in the US. Here are some of the survey’s findings:
- On average, the respondents are willing to go without sex for a year and three months as long as they get a closet full of new clothes. About two percent are even willing to go to the extreme, giving up sex for three years for a new wardrobe.
- Losing their favorite piece of clothing would be much worse than not having sex for a month for 61% of the respondents.
- Apparently, the clothes last longer than relationships. The average woman between 18 and 54 years has kept her favorite piece of clothing for 12 and a half years, edging out her longest relationship by a year.
- Seventy percent believe in love at first sight when it comes to clothes. When it comes to men, only 54% believe they could spot Mr. Right.
- This is the most telling: 48 percent of the respondents said they could count on more on their favorite clothes than on their man to make them feel sexy and confident.
