Donatella Versace has reportedly signed on to design clothes for the Spice Girls for their reunion tour which will kick off in December.

Instead of the baby doll dresses, ill-fitting tracksuits and the leopard skin prints that are the signature of the band at the height of its popularity, Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm will all be wearing glamorous and sexy stage outfits worth over £200,000.

Versace, however, maintains it is important that all of the girls should retain their individual characters, but in a less obvious way this time. According to the Mirror, the designer has already drawn up sketches of her figure-flaunting and risqué designs for the group.

The comeback tour, which will kick off in Vancouver, Canada on December 2, will see the Spice Girls perform a total of 14 concerts in various cities around the world.
