Versace has announced that it will help with the renovation of New York's Clock Tower building on Madison Avenue by doing the interior design.
Details of the deal between the Italian luxury brand and Africa Israel, which owns the Clock Tower building, have not been made public, but Versace is expected to kit out 55 apartments and a spa in the century-old building, which was acquired by Africa Israel last year for $200 million. Donatella Versace will also personally design a new club that will be the main feature within the building inspired by the bell tower in Venice's famous St Mark's Square.
Once renovations, which the investment company said would take around two years at a cost of $110 million, are complete, the complex is expected to be worth around $1 billion.
