US Retailer Drops Lauren Conrad Fashion Label

Top US retailer Kitson has taken Lauren Conrad's fashion label off its shelves.

Conrad, who became known for her appearance in the MTV reality show The Hills, has only launched her label in February, and Kitson’s decision to drop her fashion line from its catalog doesn’t bode well for the future of her range.

Part of the reason, store owner Fraser Ross says, for the fashion label’s failure are lackluster sales brought about by the celebrity’s lazy attitude towards promotion.

"Sales were lackluster. Initially it was great".  Fraser said. "They need to realize it's no different than selling your album, your TV shows, your movies. You have to keep promoting it."
