Twiggy Stars With Daughter in Fashion Shoot

The fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree, and that is especially true in the case of 60s catwalk queen Twiggy.

Possessing the same beautiful complexion and statuesque figure that made her mother famous, 29-year-old Carly Lawson, together with her mom, has appeared in her first modelling assignment, a fashion shoot for a new collection that Twiggy has designed for online shopping company Littlewoods Direct.

"Carly and I have always wanted to work together," says Twiggy, who looks so much younger than her 58 years that she and her daughter could easily be mistaken for sisters instead of mother and daughter.

Although this is her first modeling job, Carly is no stranger to the fashion world, as she is working as a print designer for Stella McCartney.

Carly is the product of Twiggy’s marriage to her first husband, US actor Michael Whitney, who died in 1983. When the fashion icon married Leigh Lawson in 1988, Carly decided to have her name changed legally as well.
