TopShop To Take Over NY

TopShop is all set to invade the United States, as it gears up for its upcoming store opening in New York later this year.

"This is going to be TopShop in all its glory, identical. It's not going to be Americanised. It will be London transferred to New York," Sir Philip Green told fashion bible WWD. Green is in New York this week as part of the company’s promotions for the store, and is on the lookout for potential locations for more stores in the future as well.

"I've got 10 sites to look at in three days. If the right deal comes up, I would do it. If I find three, I will open three", he said.

Set to open on Broadway in October, the 40,000-square-foot store has four floors the will feature, among others, futuristic lighting, glossy shelving, a shoe lounge and a VIP suite.
