The Queen Makes Vogue’s Most Glamorous Women List

Queen Elizabeth II may be an octogenarian, but age doesn’t seem to matter as far as glamour is concerned. At least that’s what British Vogue apparently had in mind when it named the 81-year-old Queen one of the 50 most glamorous women in the world.

And The Queen is in mighty good company, as this month's special issue also includes supermodels Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, as well as actress Dame Helen Mirren, whose portrayal of the monarch on film won her an Oscar Best Actress trophy early this year.

The Queen, the fashion bible says gushingly, is "as glamorous in her brogues and headscarf in Balmoral as she is wearing the crown jewels."

Also making the list are 70-year-old Vanessa Redgrave and 62-year-old Charlotte Rampling, as well as Daisy Lowe, Luella Bartley and Sophie Dahl.
