While her famous dad is in court dealing with a messy divorce, Stella McCartney was showcasing her fall collection at Paris Fashion Week.

And her show was generally a success, with critics agreeing that her latest collection is a clever one, and looked lovely to wear, unlike some of the overly aggressive and inane designs that have been hitting the catwalk lately.

Stella’s latest collection, which includes heavy wool coats with oversized lapels, short duffle coats and a matching felt wool wide sleeved tunic with short pleated skirt, looked like something real women would wear on a daily basis.

Best of all, the designer seemed to be making a statement, as her whole show was practically fur-free, effectively making her point by showcasing coats that looked just as warm as those made from real animal skin.
