Stars Rock Fashion Rocks Event

The fifth Fashion Rocks event proved to be a major success Friday, as the star-studded fashion-meets-music extravaganza featured performances from some of the biggest names in pop music today.

Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown, Rhianna, Duffy and the Pussycat Dolls were just some of the big names who rocked the event, which is in essence a celebration of the relationship between music and fashion, as well as the opening salvo for the ongoing New York Fashion Week.

One of the night's biggest highlights was an all-female chorus that had Carey, Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna, Fergie, Sheryl Crow, Miley Cyrus, Ashanti and Carrie Underwood sing with British singers Leona Lewis, Duffy and Natasha Bedingfield the charity single 'Just Stand Up' for U.S cancer charity, Stand Up To Cancer.

Also in attendance were many of the fashion industry's elite, including Valentino, Tommy Hilfiger, and Vera Wang.

Hosted by actor Denis Leary, the event will air Tuesday in a two-hour special on CBS.
