Shiseido Drops Angelina Jolie, Taps Agyness Deyn

Angelina Jolie is no longer the face of Shiseido cosmetics, and instead chose rising English supermodel Agyness Deyn to front its campaigns.

The Academy Award-winning actress has been the Japanese cosmetics giant’s ambassador since 2006, with appearances in many of the brand’s commercials and print ads.

The 25-year-old Deyn, however, is reportedly slated to feature in Shiseido's Maquillage ad campaign this coming autumn.

Last month, fashion house St. John has also dropped the actress as its face after her three-year deal with the company ended. There were speculations about that spilt, with industry analysts saying the highly-liberal image of Jolie’s didn’t mix well with the conservative profile of the fashion house.
