Vivienne Westwood may have some of her creations featured in the recent hit movie “Sex and the City”, but the 67-year-old was far from being impressed with the fashion featured in the film.
West wood described the fashion, which is as much a staple of the hit HBO series turned movie as racy storylines, featured in it as “quite dull”.
"'I thought 'Sex and the City' was supposed to be about cutting-edge fashion and there was nothing remotely memorable or interesting about what I saw. I went to the premiere and left after ten minutes", she said.
Westwood herself created the wedding dress worn by Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker’s character in the movie. It is one of the 81 outfits that the actress wore in the film. Her co-stars, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Kristin Davis, had 200 outfit changes between them.
