Saab To Open First Harrods Boutique

Big week for Elie Saab: he is set to open this week his first ever boutique at London department store Harrods.

"I am delighted to be opening my first boutique in London at Harrods. I believe that Harrods is the right partner for us because of its status in luxury retail in the UK and its broad base of customers," he says.

To be situated right on the first floor of Harrods, the store is expected to carry the label's ready-to-wear collection, as well as the embellished cocktail frocks, accessories and the Oscar-worthy creations that Saab is known for.

And Harrods bigwigs are only too happy to welcome the Lebanese designer to the fold.

"Elie Saab's signature gowns with dramatic silhouettes and spectacular embellishment effortlessly combine European trends with Middle Eastern inspiration. Our clients will be seduced by the elegant show-stopping creations available at the boutique," says Harrods' fashion and beauty director Marigay McKee.
