This celebrity fashion line thing is never going away, what with clothing companies signing up celebs left and right to “design” a collection for them.

The latest to jump on the bandwagon is Pixie Geldof, daughter of Live Aid supremo Bob and sister of socialite and occasional broadcaster Peaches. According to the Mirror, 17-year-old Pixie has just been offered an estimated £80,000 deal with high street chain New Look to design and model an eight-piece fashion range.

"The deal is virtually identical to the one Lily Allen signed. But whereas Lily's was met with a slightly muted response, Pixie's is expected to race out of stores”, as source tells the Mirror.

And while the offer was only for one collection, the bosses at New Look are said to be hoping for more ranges should Pixie’s clothing line prove to be a hit.

Pixie is also expected to model the clothes herself in the flagship London store on the launch night.
