Karl Lagerfeld is no longer alone in straddling the highly artistic fields of fashion design and photography at the same time.

Olivier Theyskens, artistic director of Nina Ricci, not only has designed the Paris house’s resort collection, but also shot its look book for the season. This was confirmed by a Nina Ricci spokesperson to WWD, saying that all such photography is done by Theyskens himself.

Now the name of the 31-year-old Belgian designer, who has been dubbed as “The Dark Prince of Belgian Goth”, can be said in the same breath as Lagerfeld’s, who is also known for doing the photography on his own campaigns for Chanel.
