While celebrities and models these days seem to be falling over themselves churning out their own clothing ranges, the opposite is true of Claudia Schiffer, who has slammed the recent spate of celebrity clothing lines, describing them as just a way to make a “quick buck”
The German supermodel made the remarks at this week's Graduate Fashion Week, saying, "For me, it's not really about making a quick buck. I've had loads of offers from people wanting to attach my name to something”.
She, however, did not entirely dismiss the possibility of having her own fashion range in the near future.
"I may be interested in creating a fashion or couture house, but it has to be great fashion. I love it too much", the still-gorgeous 37-year-old said.
She also had something to say about hard partying models like Agyness Deyn and Daisy Lowe. “There’s not one way to reach for success – if you look at all the supermodels, everyone has done it their own way. But you have to stay focused and, if partying doesn’t affect your work, that’s fine. If you’re turning up to shoots tired, it has to stop”.
