Yet another maid has had legal success against Naomi Campbell, who has decided to settle a discrimination lawsuit that she has filed against the supermodel.
Ivana Lovas, a Slovakian housekeeper who used to work for the supermodel, has claimed in the lawsuit that Campbell committed acts of racial and sexual discrimination against her during the four months she was in her employ. Among them was when Campbell allegedly screamed at her, "You can't afford to leave me. You're married and you've got a kid. I'll sue you if you do" when she threatened to quit her job. Lovas also claimed that Campbell was critical of her command, or apparent lack of, of the English language.
The housekeeper eventually quit in October, but Campbell declined to pay her salary as well as her annual leave. She is now believed to have paid thousands of pounds to Lovas to settle the case before it goes to court. This is something that Campbell is no stranger to, as she did the same with Amanda Brack, a former employee who accused her in 2005 of physical and verbal abuse.
