Naomi Becomes Independent

Naomi Campbell has signed up with Independent Talent Group, Europe's largest talent representation agency, to handle all of her commercial contracts in the UK.

The supermodel superstar, however, is still represented internationally by IMG in Paris, IMG in New York and David Brown D' Manage.

Still, Campbell’s move is no less a major coup for Independent, formerly known as ICM, which counts the likes of Daniel Craig, Orlando Bloom and Alexa Chung among its roster of talents.

"I am thrilled that Naomi Campbell is joining the agency," he says. "She will be a real asset to Independent and compliment our diverse and high profiled range of talent", Independent chairman Duncan Heath said.

The same sentiment was echoed by Gavin Myall, president of Independent Models, saying, "Naomi is an icon. She's energetic, creative and one of the most famous supermodels and brands in the world. She's hard working and great fun. We are delighted to be working with her".
