Rimmel Keeps Kate Moss
Apparently, Kate Moss isn’t “too old” for Rimmel, as earlier reported.
The UK cosmetic company announced it would keep the 32-year old supermodel as the face for the company, effectively negating reports they’re dropping her because she is “getting on in terms of modeling”.
Senior Vice President Stephen Mormoris rubbished complaints earlier in the week that they were looking for a new face.
He told WWD:” Kate Moss delivers a distinctive type of beauty that is both inspirational and attainable to Rimmel users.
"She is a terrific model for the mainstream cosmetic line [Rimmel London] and she will continue to represent the brand.
Most Memorable Oscar Fashion On Display
The Oscar awards has been the stage for some of the most memorable and iconic fashions ever created. Now, you’ll get to see them all over again, at the same time, through A Celebration of Oscar Fashion, where up to 30 iconic gowns worn by stars at the Oscar awards over the years are on display. Among the gems include:
The vintage Valentino gown worn by Julia Roberts when she picked up her gong for Erin Brokovich in 2001; the Elie Saab gown that Halle Berry donned when she took Best Actress for her work in Monsters Ball in 2002 and the backless Guy Laroche number that Hilary Swank wore to pick up her gong for Million Dollar Baby in 2005; were all on display.
Other designs in the collection included two of Renee Zellweger's dresses and gowns worn by Charlize Theron.
Roland Mouret to Make A Comeback
Almost two years after he stunned the fashion world by quitting his own label, fashion designer Roland Mouret is poised to make a comeback at Paris' Couture Week in July—with an all-new collection, no less.
The satellite collection will be called RM, featuring Mouret's "signature draping techniques" and fine tailored "must have" pieces including iconic dresses, jackets, skirts and trousers.
"The idea of this satellite collection is for me to be able to express the most concentrated vision of my ideas of dressing women and to deliver that vision to them in the shortest time possible," said Mouret.
