Supermodel Nikki Taylor is Married

Supermodel Nikki Taylor wed Nascar driver Burney Lamar Wednesday in La Jolla, Calif. after a four-month engagement. A total of 60 guests attended the Taylor-Lamar wedding.

Taylor, now a clothing entrepreneur, wore a Vera Wang dress.

For even more of a hometown touch, the ceremony was officiated by the couple's Brentwood, Tenn., church pastor. But for their first dance together, the newlyweds went along with La Jolla's oceanfront vibe, picking surfer-singer-songwriter Jack Johnson's romantic "Better Together."

Instead of wedding gifts, the couple asked for donations to Victory Junction Game Camp, a North Carolina camp for seriously ill children.

Exclusive Interview with America's Next Top Model CariDee

MyClearSkin.net's interview with America's Next Top Model winner CariDee brings you on an inside look behind CariDee's experience on the show and what she's doing now in her modeling career.

IGN TV: Did you have a hard time with the nude shoot?

CariDee: No. God no. Honey, I was the second person up there. I went topless around the house a lot. I’m very, very comfortable with my body. Once it’s clear and I had the opportunity to get naked and not just naked but being completely bare, using just my skin as my tool was such a liberating and healing thing for me. I felt so alive and I felt so great. Nudity was a non-issue. It was such a liberating thing. I’m beautiful now on the outside and it felt good to show it.

CariDee is the new face of CoverGirl Cosmetics and will be doing her first commercial next week in Sydney, Australia.

Models and Photoshop

Many people use photoshop to make themselves thinner, but with all the hoopla the skinny models are causing in the modeling industry, editors are now reportedly using photoshop to add pounds to the models.

“A model shows up and you realize she’s too thin and has lost weight since the booking, but the show must go on,” said Allure editor in chief Linda Wells. “When the film comes to me, I realize I don’t want to see hip bones and ribs in the magazine.”

Enter the retouching process, which helps make the haggard look healthier.

Posing and expressions can make a model look healthier, but certain angles are difficult to work with, and with the recent attention drawn to the fashion industry, photoshop solves many problems.

"It seems like we've been doing it more lately than in years past," said Wells. "It is something we noticed at the fashion shows this year — there were some alarming moments on the runway. And that caused some chatter."
