License to Model?

Italy's chamber of fashion has announced that in order for models to walk next season, they must have a license.

What does one do to achieve their modeling license in Italy?

The modeling licesnse will be a guarantee of good health, meaning the model must have a BMI of 18.5 or more, must be at least 16 years of age, and must be personally assessed by the Chamber of Fashion, the Association of Fashion Services, and a specific group of doctors, nurses and nutritionists.

 

Anna Wintour Documentary Coming Soon

Fans of The Devil Wears Prada will be in for a treat, as the real Anna Wintour documentary is coming out soon to chronicle the making of Vogue's September issue. The film is to be shot over the next eight months by filmmaker R.J. Cutler.

"You see fictionalized versions of Anna all over the place now," Cutler said. "None of them, of course, are as fascinating as Anna herself."

Cutler said the docu won't be a straightforward profile of Wintour but rather a behind-the-scenes look at Vogue and the world of haute couture.

 

When asked what she thought of the hit film, The Devil Wears Prada, Wintur responded that she makes decisions easily, and Meryl Streep's character was depicted well- as a strong character similar to herself.

Miss Nevada Says She's Sorry

Former Miss Nevada Katie Reeves apologizes for the inappropriate photos that have been circulating throughout the Internet.

"These images were from an isolated incident during my teenage years, long before my consideration to compete in the Miss USA program. While I take full responsibility for the photographs...This incident does not reflect who I am or who I plan to be. I am so sorry this happened."

Reeves also stated she hopes her experience will work as a warning to other young women who are not cautious about having their photograph taken.
