After careful consideration, Donald Trump decided to give Miss USA Tara Conner a second chance. Conner has been under careful scrutiny after her 21st birthday and alleged drug and alcohol reports started to come into play. She was seen as unreliable and a bad example to other young women across the nation.
Speaking at the conference, Conner, who erupted in tears, did not go into detail about the allegations against her but did admit to drinking while underage and to having "personal demons." She apologized for her behavior, especially if it hurt her parents, and thanked Trump for his compassion.
Trump stated that he had every intention to fire Conner, but after speaking with her he "saw not only a beautiful woman, but a beautiful heart."
Trump added that she had gotten caught up in a whirlwind in New York after leaving her small Kentucky town.
