Matthew McConaughey Is The Face of New D&G Scent

Actor Matthew McConaughey has reportedly been chosen to front Dolce & Gabbana's new men's scent.

Fashion Week Daily reports that the designers themselves have chosen McConaughey, star of such films as “Sahara” and “We Are Marshall”, to appear in ad campaigns and commercials for the fragrance, which was created in collaboration with Proctor & Gamble's Prestige Products division. Fashion photographer and music video director Jean-Baptiste Mondino, who was seen shooting with the actor in Paris on Rue de Castiglione in September, will helm the ads.

The scent won’t be out till next year, but will be shown to select editors on Tuesday. McConaughey is expected to be there at the event at Gramercy Park Hotel, and will be joining Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana on the rooftop for a dinner to be hosted by the designers.
