Maggie Gylenhaal Is The New Face of Agent Provocateur

Hollywood actress Maggie Gyllenhaal is the new face of lingerie firm Agent Provacateur, replacing troubled supermodel Kate Moss.

Gyllenhaal, the sister of “Donnie Darko” actor Jake Gyllenhaal, is set to appear in an online short film which is part of the firm’s forthcoming publicity campaign. Last year, the company’s website crashed with the sheer number of fans logging on to watch Moss do the same thing.

Gyllenhaal’s campaign, which will launch on September 1, will be followed by two more short films, whose stars are yet to be named.

The actress is best known for playing quirky characters in such controversial films as “The Secretary”, where she plays a masochistic secretary who enjoys being spanked by her boss played by James Spader, and “SherryBaby”, where she takes on a Golden Globe-nominated role as a fresh-out-of-prison mother seeking to reconnect with her young daughter.

It was initially reported that Moss, whose contract with Agent Provocateur ends next month, will be replaced by budding model Daisy Lowe.
