Great Britain may be the adopted country of pop icon Madonna, but apparently, she isn’t too keen on adopting the fashion sense of British women.
In an interview with Britain’s Elle Magazine, Madonna said:
"I don't pay much attention to British women's style. I just run around in my tracksuit with my sunglasses on." [Source]
Madonna, who has a Hennes & Mauritz fashion line called M by Madonna set to hit stores this month, has been living in London for the better part of her marriage to Guy Ritchie, the director of such films as “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels” and “Snatch”.
And, for a singer who is just as known for her trendsetting fashion sense as for her music career, the pop superstar reveals she never liked shopping, that she hates the idea of going into a store and choosing clothes off racks. She said she prefers that the clothes be brought to her.
Her line for the Swedish clothing giant H & M includes such signature Madonna stuff as scarves, evening dresses and super-skinny pants.
