Lingerie Giant Dumps Kate Moss

The week is shaping up to be a bad one for Kate Moss. On top of the news that boyfriend Pete Doherty cheated on her, the British supermodel is also being dropped as the face of lingerie giant Agent Provocateur in a favor a much younger model.

Agent Provocateur boss Serena Rees has reportedly confirmed that the 12-month deal Moss had with the lingerie company will no longer be renewed when it expires next month. Rumor has it that the contract was terminated because the supermodel allegedly had a falling-out with Rees. The rift apparently stemmed from the fact that Rees ran off with the former bassist of rock band The Clash, Paul Simonon, who also happens to be the husband of one of Kate's best friends.

Ironically, she will be replaced by 18-year-old model Daisy Lowe, who Moss previously beat out for the Agent Provocateur gig. Lowe is the daughter of designer Pearl Lowe and Gavin Rossdale, rocker husband of pop superstar Gwen Stefani.
