Lily Cole Is The New Face of Marks & Spencer

Marks & Spencer has just named 19-year-old supermodel Lily Cole as the exclusive new face of the M&S Limited Collection.

The flame-haired Cole will be joining such names as Myleene Klass and Lizzy Jagger in a series of television advertisements and billboard posters for M&S, which recently launched its star-studded 'Christmas Belles' holiday commercial featuring stars that include Twiggy, Erin O'Connor, and Antonio Banderas.

No financial details were disclosed, but the deal between M&S and Cole is reputed to be in the six-figure range.

A dazzling combination of beauty and brains, the teenaged Cole has already modeled for some of the most illustrious names in fashion on the catwalks of Milan, Paris and New York, and just began studying for an English degree at Cambridge University last month. She is also an avid environmentalist, being a patron of the Trees for Cities charity and having recently written the foreword to a book about ethical shopping called Green Is The New Black.
