Lagerfeld To Release Unisex Scents

Karl Lagerfeld is preparing to release three new unisex fragrances, first in Europe in October and then in America by the end of November.

Aptly named Kapsule, the new Lagerfeld fragrance is made up of three scents, namely Light, Floriental, and Woody, which contain notes of fresh bread, woods, vanilla, and spices.

"I don't like heavy, flowery things. I think there are never enough fragrances — they are so much fun to play with. I do strange mixes. There is no gender in perfumes anymore."

Taking more than nine months to create, the fragrances can either be worn alone or layered together depending on your mood.
Contained in bottles inspired by Lagerfeld’s love of geometry, the Kapsule trio is estimated by industry experts to generate $48 million in retail sales globally in its first seven months on counter.
