Knight, Swarovski To Judge Scottish Style Awards

Famed photographer Nick Knight and rhinestone heiress Nadja Swarovski have been named as judges in the upcoming fourth annual Scottish Style Awards.

The addition of Knight and Swarovski has further upped the credibility of the five-strong judging panel, which already includes visionary retailer and fashion aficionado Sheikh Majed Al Sabah, Peter Saville and Turner Prize-winning artist Douglas Gordon.

"We are thrilled and honoured to have the support of these five truly inspirational global arbiters of style," says Mary McGowne, the founder of the awards, which aim to recognize Scotland's finest creative talent. "It is a testament to the hard work, integrity and year-round quest that goes into maintaining the Scottish Style Awards as the definitive benchmark of Scottish style."

Sponsored by Moët & Chandon, the event is set to take place on October 24 at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.
