Kate Moss Not A Real Star, Says Cavalli

Kate Moss may be one of the most famous and highest-paid supermodels these days, but as far as Roberto Cavalli is concerned, she isn’t really a star.

In an interview with Observer Food Monthly, the 68-year-old designer said he doesn’t think Moss 'has what it takes to be a true star'.

And he doesn’t think much of Moss’ fellow models as well, and even sneaks in a swipe at supermodel Naomi Campbell.

“For me, models are just pieces of wood that I carve to make clothes look beautiful. There are thousands of models like all other models. Naomi Campbell is the same way”.

Then Cavalli goes on to say he’d rather work with “artists” such as P Diddy than with professional clotheshorses. Go figure.
