Jessica Simpson’s brand is definitely growing with the addition of a range of dresses that will bear her name.

Camuto Group, the license holder of the singer-actress’ brand, and G-III Apparel Group have struck a deal to produce a line of contemporary dresses under Simpson’s name.

"I'm extremely excited to be expanding into the dress market," Simpson said. "I plan on creating beautiful dresses in distinctive fabrics and silhouettes that are reflective of my personal style and offer something special to the marketplace."

The collection is set to launch spring 2009 in the U.S., and hit stores in fall 2009.
