Irina Lazareanu Wants To Take A Break

Irina Lazareanu is one of the most sought-after models today, but many people who were at the tents during New York Fashion Week were wondering why she's spotted all over Bryant Park but the catwalk.

Irina, it seems, just wants to take a break.

“After six seasons I wanted to take off some time,” explained the model at the Phillip Lim show Wednesday afternoon. “I always put all my eggs in one basket…and for the last three years I’ve had no break. Phillip is a dear friend of mine, so I had to come see his show”.

And she's surprisingly happy to just sit back and watch her fellow models strut their stuff on the catwalk. “This is the first time I’ve really enjoyed New York Fashion Week,” she admitted. “I can have lunch with friends and see people.”

But worry not, Lazareanu fans. Her break, which she is using to continue work on her album with Sean Lennon, will come to an end in time for Milan and Paris fashion week, where she will be walking "a little".
