Swedish brand Odd Molly has a new face in the person of supermodel Helena Christensen.
Convincing Christensen to agree to front the label’s spring/summer 2009 campaign was a gamble that paid off, said Odd Molly's creative director Per Holknekt, who admits that "the decision to contact this dream girl for our campaigns was something of a long shot".
"Helena really likes what we do and our partnership is the result of a super simple negotiation," he adds. "We have really hit the mark with Helena and she truly embodies our sentiments at Odd Molly, and for that matter, the reverse is also true."
The supermodel will make her debut with the label at Copenhagen Fashion Week next month, hosting the runway show and attending the party that evening.
She will also be working on a photo shoot to be shot by Yelena Yemchuk that same week. The ad campaign shoot will debut in leading fashion magazines in January 2009.
