Harper's Bazaar Celebrates 140th Year

Harper’s Bazaar, one of the world’s leading fashion publications, is turning 140 years old this year. To celebrate this milestone, the magazine, which began publication in 1867, will feature a photo tour of its vintage issues in its November issue.

Also, this month’s issue will feature quotes from some famous designers, who were asked the "why don't you?" question made famous by former Harper’s Bazaar columnist Diane Vreeland. Here are some of them:
