Giorgio Armani Dresses Batman Up

Christian Bale could prove to be the best-dressed Batman yet, what with Giorgio Armani himself outfitting the actor for the upcoming Batman movie, “The Dark Knight”.

Bale would be wearing an array of hand made-to-measure suits every time he appears as Bruce Wayne, the billionaire alter ego of the superhero. His wardrobe includes single-breasted, three-button suits, single-breasted tuxedos and black wool coats.

"As a Giorgio Armani Hand Made-to-Measure client, Bruce Wayne is demonstrating his status as a discriminating and sophisticated connoisseur of fine fashion, while also showing he has individual taste," said Armani. "It is also fitting that I should be dressing a superhero this year, as I am pleased to have chaired the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art's exhibition, Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy, last May".

Armani is no stranger to costuming stars in films, as movies such as “American Gigolo” and “The Untouchables” have incorporated designs by one of the most famous designers today.
