Form Taps Tara Subkoff As Artistic Director

Form has announced that former Imitation of Christ designer Tara Subkoff has been appointed as artistic director of its spring/summer 2009 show.
This isn't the first time that Subkoff and FORM founder Jerry Tam would be working together, as Tam, who is remembered by many as Project Runway season five's first castoff, used to serve as an intern for Subkoff at Imitation of Christ.
And Subkoff, who called her appointment "karmic and cosmic", is only too happy to help. "It's so great to be able to support one of my first interns at such a crucial time," she said.
The show, which is said to be influenced by the softer lines of the Rococo movement, is scheduled for September 5 at the Atelier Skylounge on West 42nd Street.
