Fashion magazine Marie Claire has jumped on the reality TV bandwagon with its plan to launch its own reality show next year.
To be called Running in Heels, the show, which will debut on the Style network in March, will give an inside look into the personal and professional lives of its editors, that it will "show life at Marie Claire through different sets of eyes, from senior level staffers to interns", according to the magazine. "Cameras will capture the 24/7 demands of their roles at the magazine and, through private video confessionals, viewers will learn how the interns cope with their jobs, their superiors and each other".

The cable network is launching a new reality show called "Model Maker", which will feature aspiring models competing with each other to lose weight and be rewarded for it.
The contestant who successfully loses weight will win with $100,000, a modeling portfolio and a personal trainer for a year.
And amid the mounting criticism against the show's premise, MTV producers say the show will have the contestants achieve the weight loss 'in a healthy and realistic time span'.

Critics have lambasted almost everything about a new made-for-television film about the life of fashion icon Coco Chanel, from its factual inaccuracies to its "wooden" acting.
The two part-movie, which is currently airing on the US network Lifetime stars Shirley McLaine as the "older" Chanel, with Barbara Bobulova playing the younger version of the legendary designer.

Top-rated reality TV show “America’s Next Top Model”, is set to make TV history with the inclusion of a transgender contestant for its 11th cycle.
Isis, a 22-year-old former non-profit worker from Prince George’s County, Maryland, will compete with a host of other pretty faces for a modeling contract and an advertising campaign.
“My cards were dealt differently,” Isis told Us Weekly about herself. Isis, who identifies herself as “a woman born physically male”, also said “I like to help people, but I’m here to follow my dreams”, when asked about being a role model for other people.
