Ex-Burberry Model Tries Hand At Designing

Former Burberry face Ben Grimes is the latest model to give designing a try.

A former face of Burberry's Brit fragrance, Grimes has partnered with her friend, designer Lily Parker, to create to create a capsule collection LPBG. To be made up of dainty silk dresses and separates, the collection will make its debut at London Fashion Week in September. The duo has also produced cropped jackets and shorts as part of their line.

"We have strived to bring old-school detailing to modern pieces", said Grimes. "There are no full-length dresses in the collection. We wanted the clothes to be more about kicking up your heels and dancing".

Grimes added that she and Parker, who has previously worked with top British talent Richard Nicoll, took inspiration from fashion editorials in Seventies editions of Vogue.
