DKNY To Launch Own Wine For 20th Anniversary

DKNY sure knows how to celebrate its 20th year in business. The fashion brand, in collaboration with Chandon, is creating its very own wine to mark the event next year.

The wine, which will come in a specially designed bottle and a custom DKNY label, will be a custom “Twenty Year Cuvée” with grapes from a two-decade span. To be sold at $50 per full-size bottle, the DKNY bubbly will be sold at chandon.com and the Chandon winery in Napa.

Wine connoisseurs can sample the DKNY blend throughout the anniversary year, especially if they’re guests at the spring 2009 runway show, where they will find a full-size bottle on their seats. Anniversary events will also serve mini-bottles of the drink all through 2009, as well as hand guests a special custom DKNY cooler bag complete with four mini-bottles.
