De Roemer Snags Walpole Award

Top industry group Walpole has chosen accessories label De Roemer to receive its Luxury Brand of Tomorrow award for 2008.

Designer Tamsin de Roemer, who launched the eponymous label in 2004, was pretty much elated with the award. "We are so very thrilled with and the wealth of experience that a Walpole award represents. This means we are very much on the map as a label of tomorrow and intend to go from strength to strength with the brand identity and awareness", she tells British Vogue.

Just like any other designer, Roemer takes much pride in her label, which is presently stocked in Matches, Liberty and other designer boutiques in London, New York and Los Angeles. "As a company, we are really excited about being able to provide stunning cashmere, handbags and fine jewellery that are appreciated for their quality, luxury and comfort as well as its quirks and humour", she says.
