Claudia Schiffer Speaks Out Against Size Zero

The size zero debate that is embroiling the fashion industry has attracted the opinions of just about everybody, and supermodel Claudia Schiffer has just given her two cents’ worth on the issue.

Schiffer is urging young models to not give in to pressure from their agents to diet. Speaking at a press conference in a Mexico City shopping mall, she said "I don't do any diets. I'm absolutely against diets."

One of the most successful and recognizable supermodels to ever hit the catwalk, Claudia Schiffer is also a sometime actress, having appeared in such movies as Richie Rich and Love Actually. It is said she also holds the record for gracing the most number of magazine covers, with more than 900 cover girl gigs.

She currently resides in London, with her film producer-husband Matthew Vaughn and their two children.
