Cindy Crawford - www.voodoo.cz
Cindy Crawford is one of the most famous supermodels of all time, with a mole on her face that is regarded by many to be one of the reasons why she had much success in the modeling field.
But did you know she almost had her famous beauty trademark surgically removed upon the prodding of agency bosses who said it would be detrimental to her career?
If not for fashion magazine Vogue, which put her on the cover without retouching her mole in any way, that mole would have been history.
She recalls, "I think it was still 'the jury is still out', until I did my first Vogue cover and when Vogue put me on the cover without re-touching it, and that was like, 'If it's good enough for Vogue, it's good enough for everybody.'" [Source]
She even joked that she ought to have the mole insured, just like the way people insure their legs or any other part of their body considered their greatest assets.
Cindy today is no longer as busy in modeling as she was before, but she is just as busy being wife to businessman Rande Gerber and mother to kids Presley and Kaya.
