Chloe Sevigny - www.fashionista.com
Way before she became an Academy Award-nominated actress for Boys Don’t Cry, before she became a star of the HBO series Big Love, and certainly before she did that controversial scene with Vincent Gallo in The Brown Bunny, Chloe Sevigny was a fashion intern for the now-defunct cult fave teen magazine, Sassy.
This is what Fashionista has unearthed, a one page Sassy spread circa 1992 showing a 17-year-old (and then-unknown) Sevigny clad in homemade hats and skater socks. She worked under Andrea Linnett, presently creative director of Lucky.
Sevigny, already a favorite of trendy magazines before her first film, Kids, came out, is no stranger to fashion. She counts Miu Miu, H&M, and MAC Cosmetics among the designers and brands she has modeled for. She has also been proclaimed by Jay McInerny as an "It Girl" in the 1993 fashion issue of The New Yorker.
