Naomi Campbell - www.montblanc.com
Naomi Campbell has already ranted before against British Vogue for the way it rarely features models of color. But in a panel discussion Friday with top black style icons at the Blacks in Fashion in New York, the supermodel wrongly claims that the fashion bible never put her on the cover—despite appearing on it eight times.
She says, "I've never been on the cover of British Vogue and I've asked a million times and they've always refused me. They'll put the same white model for half the year - I swear like six times, but wouldn't put me on once in my own country."
She has apparently forgotten that since 1987, she has been featured on the cover of British Vogue a total of eight times-- five times by her lonesome, twice with other models and once with hip-hop mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs.
Hopefully, Naomi’s blunder is just due to forgetfulness, not to something she’s smoking.
