Bindi Irwin may only be eight years old, but she is not only following in her late father’s footsteps as a wildlife advocate, but she is setting her sights on fashion as well.
Steve Irwin’s daughter will soon be introducing Bindi Wear International, a children’s clothing line initially designed exclusively for Australia Zoo by Irwin family friend Palmina DiStasi.
What’s more, the line is entirely for a good cause, as 100 percent of proceeds will go towards supporting Australia's conservation programs, according to Bindi. "My Daddy was working to change the world, so everyone would love wildlife like he did. Now it is our turn to help," she told WWD.
DiStasi, who has been designing the line for the past seven years, said Bindi is actively involved in the clothing line, saying that they’ve incorporated the girl’s artwork into the designs, and that “she always tells us what she wants and doesn't want in the collection."
