At last, one of fashion’s best-kept secrets won’t be a secret anymore.

Luxury footwear label Beatrix Ong is now setting its sights on becoming a global luxury accessories brand, with help from British Fashion Council chairman Harold Tillman. Tillman, who owns fashion brand Jaeger, is working with designer Beatrix Ong and Jaeger's chief executive Belinda Earl to make that vision come true.

"I feel very strongly about supporting the incredible fashion talent we have in Britain," says Tillman. "Beatrix has been recognised as one of the world's top ten upcoming shoe designers, but is at a crucial growth stage - it is our intention to help her cement this deserved position and guide her global growth to become one of the UK's leading luxury brands."

Ong, who had a successful stint at Jimmy Choo, founded her eponymous label in 2002. Her shoes has since won over many fans, including celebrities such as Kate Moss, Drew Barrymore and Mary-Kate Olsen.
