Here’s another feather on Giorgio Armani’s already very distinguished fashion and lifestyle cap: the Italian fashion icon has unveiled a limited-edition collection of fine writing instruments called Giorgio Armani Pens.

"A handwritten note is, today more than ever, a sign of etiquette, elegance and sophistication," said Armani. "To carry an iconic pen is therefore a symbol of character and style."

The first series, called the Regal Collection, was created in collaboration with Italian pen maker Tibaldi. Created using only the highest quality materials, each pen has a rhodium-and-ruthenium-plated solid 18-karat gold nib, as well as a cap adorned with Armani’s initials.

Only 199 numbered pieces of the collection will be sold, and will be available individually or as part of a deluxe package.
