Anna Wintour - www.femalefirst.co.uk
With all the top designers at her fingertips, Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour has chosen to wear an outfit more than once, as she was spotted wearing the same dress three times in less than two weeks.
Wintour, who is widely considered by many to be the most powerful woman in fashion, was first seen wearing the fitted white and red floral-print Carolina Hererra ensemble Armani show in Milan on June 24. Then, on June 27, she was clad in the very same outfit as she cheered on Roger Federer at the Wimbledon tennis tournament in London alongside Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale. Finally, she wore her favorite dress for the third time at the Lacroix runway show during Paris Couture Week on July 1.
Maybe its the current changing climate in the fashion industry as a result of the credit crunch and the demand for eco-fashion, but if someone like Anna Wintour starts to recycle wardrobes, maybe we all should take a cue from her and wear an outfit more than once as well.
