Marko Jaric of the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves is a lucky man.

The Serbian-born basketball star has just officially gotten engaged to Victoria's Secret angel Adriana Lima. According to his publicist, the 29-year-old player, who has been dating the gorgeous Brazilian supermodel for about nine months, popped the question on Lima’s 27th birthday last Thursday.

"He asked, and she said yes. They are both incredibly happy and couldn't be more in love," James Weir, Jaric’s publicist, confirmed to People.

Lima, who has previously dated rocker Lenny Kravitz and New York Yankees superstar Derek Jeter, is known for claiming to be a virgin and has stated previously that she will wait until she gets married before she has sex. Jaric, indeed, is a lucky man.
