Supermodel Nikki Taylor wed Nascar driver Burney Lamar Wednesday in La Jolla, Calif. after a four-month engagement. A total of 60 guests attended the Taylor-Lamar wedding.
Taylor, now a clothing entrepreneur, wore a Vera Wang dress.
For even more of a hometown touch, the ceremony was officiated by the couple's Brentwood, Tenn., church pastor. But for their first dance together, the newlyweds went along with La Jolla's oceanfront vibe, picking surfer-singer-songwriter Jack Johnson's romantic "Better Together."
Instead of wedding gifts, the couple asked for donations to Victory Junction Game Camp, a North Carolina camp for seriously ill children.

After careful consideration, Donald Trump decided to give Miss USA Tara Conner a second chance. Conner has been under careful scrutiny after her 21st birthday and alleged drug and alcohol reports started to come into play. She was seen as unreliable and a bad example to other young women across the nation.
Speaking at the conference, Conner, who erupted in tears, did not go into detail about the allegations against her but did admit to drinking while underage and to having "personal demons." She apologized for her behavior, especially if it hurt her parents, and thanked Trump for his compassion.
Trump stated that he had every intention to fire Conner, but after speaking with her he "saw not only a beautiful woman, but a beautiful heart."
Trump added that she had gotten caught up in a whirlwind in New York after leaving her small Kentucky town.

Anna Wintour to help underweight models - www.nypost.com
Vogue Editor-in Chief Anna Wintour has is discussing how those in the fashion industry can work with new laws to keep dangerously underweight models off the runway.
After Italy started cracking down in their efforts to stop ultra-thin models appearing in fashion shows, the fashion industry worries they will be put to blame for showcasing unhealthy appearance and lifestyle.
Washington Post fashion writer Robin Givhan says many models today are "pale, almost to the point of translucent, and astonishingly thin. They look positively rickety. Seeing one in a swimsuit can make you shudder. They are not sexy or even particularly pretty. How can they be when they look as though the life has been sucked out of them?"
This year has been an eye-opener for the fashion industry.
In September, Madrid banned all models with a BMI below 18. The Spanish Association of Fashion Designers suggested that 30 percent of Spanish models would fail the test, and wouldn't be able to participate in the Fall 2006 Fashion Week.
Then this month models participating in Sao Paulo's January fashion show (January 24-29) must show proof of good health as part of a campaign launched after Brazilian model Ana Carolina Reston died last month of anorexia. Models under the age of 16 will also be banned from the show.
Now Italy is jumping on the bandwagon working to crack down on the incredibly thin models in an effort to promote healthier looks.
America's Next Top Model came to a close yesterday evening, as Tyra Banks chose this season's winner: CariDee.
After all three finalists, CariDee, Eugena, and Melrose, performed a CoverGirl commercial and photoshoot for Outlast Lipwear, Banks cut Eugena from the competition due to her lack of enthusiasm.
"I'm just not quite sure if you really want this," Banks said.
CariDee was visibly upset over this decision, as she and Eugena were tired of Melrose's bitchy attitude. Melrose and CariDee then went on to fight for the prize titling the struggle "The Battle of the Blondes."
The final challenge for the season was a spooky fashion show, in which the models dressed up as corpse brides and were to stare each other down through a misty fog. Dressed with theatrical makeup they were made to look dead, yet fashionable. Throughout the show CariDee accidentally stepped on Melrose's dress, causing it to rip. Melrose flipped out in anger and wouldn't accept CariDee's apology. The final run of the show featured them screaming, running out to the audience in horror for theatrical ambience.
Justin Timberlake hosted the 2006 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Tuesday evening where new designs sauntered down the catwalk to be revealed to the world.
Timberlake kicked off the evening with an extended performance of "Sexy Back" while the supermodels shared the runway to the beat of the song. Timberlake was dressed in a dark suit with bright white shoes on his feet, and performed one more song near the end of the show.
The countdown begins as America's Next Top Model is down to the final three: Eugena, Melrose, and CariDee. After a nervwrecking Flamenco dance routine as well as a terrifying photo shoot in freezing cold water, the judges concluded that Amanda was a bit too awkward to continue in the competition.
In fact, photographer Nigel Barker stated, "Her body is a complete disaster."
It was a close call, however, between CariDee and Amanda, as CariDee's body was unable to withstand the freezing temperature of the freezing water and was on the verge of hypothermia. She was lectured by Tyra Banks, who said in the future she must voice her concerns if she is pushing her body too hard.
Banks went on to explain that in the modeling world, extreme temperatures are more common than the average model thinks.
"Swimsuits are shot in the winter," Banks explained. "Coats in the hot summer heat. How are we supposed to know if you'll be able to handle that pressure?"
