Lauren Moller - www.yorkshiretoday.co.uk
In what can be seen as a clear statement to the fashion world amidst the raging size zero debate, store chain John Lewis has hired size 12 model Lauren Moller to be the face and body of its new swimwear ad campaign.
Moller, who is from Cape Town, South Africa, has a 26-inch waist, a 34C bust, 37.5-inch hips, and a BMI, or body mass index, of 19.8, just above the minimum BMI set by organizers of London Fashion Week for models. That means John Lewis played it safe, choosing a model who can hardly be called size zero.

Prada - www.telegraph.co.uk
Unfortunately, that doesn't refer to the price tags, but to the way they looked as models paraded Prada’s latest autumn-winter collection at Milan Fashion Week, just as designer Miuccia Prada intended them to be.
According to The Telegraph’s Hilary Alexander, the clothes looked like they came from a cheap, market stall.
Strange colours and even stranger colour combinations; fabrics which looked as if they had been stamped out by a plastic injection moulding machine; and shapes which were, for the most part, shapeless, all passed by in a bewildering display.

Tyra Banks - www.fashionscene.nl
It has been ten years since supermodel Tyra Banks made history by becoming the very first black supermodel to appear all by herself on the cover of the swimsuit edition of Sports Illustrated. Now she is marking that milestone by recreating the Bahamian photo shoot that landed her on the cover of the magazine.
She wore the same red polka dot bikini that she wore ten years ago. However, a few adjustments had to be made to make it fit, considering that she now weighs twenty-one pounds heavier than her 140-pound weight during the original 1997 shoot.
